We recreate the genuine oil paintings brushstroke by brushstroke, the same way the Old Masters recreated the originals by using quality canvas, quality brushes and quality paints. We do not use posters that are glazed, nor giclees. All our paintings are hand painted using timeless techniques passed down from generation to generation like the Old Masters used. For all portraits, we always email a visual to our customers to approve the portrait. If from the visual, you see things that need to be fine-tuned, not a problem at all. The artist will make the adjustment and resend the visual for approval. Our artists are very skilled and the artist who will be painting your portrait specializes in portrait paintings and will do an amazing job. How do we find the prices for your paintings? For the Old Master paintings, when you search and click on a painting visual that you like, you will see the prices for the paintings in your shopping cart. Can I pay a deposit and not pay in full for my portrait painting? Yes, absolutely! Not a problem at all! We usually request payment in full, but since this is the first time that you are doing business with us, you can send in a 25% deposit, and then the balance when the painting is approved and ready to be shipped. We will immediately ship the painting and then you let us know what you think when the painting arrives. Can I also order my portrait painting stretched and framed? What if I am looking for a particular painting that I do not have a visual of?Not a problem at all! They are replicas and will look just like the original Old Masters. Can you customize and change the faces in the Old Master's paintings? Yes, absolutely. You can send us a great photograph and one of our artists will replace the Old Master's face with your face. The photograph that you send should have your face looking in the same direction as the person in the original painting. Please email a photograph in which the artist can clearly see your features. We use standard sizes on our website for the painting offerings, but we do offer the paintings in other sizes too. If you want to order the Old Master's original size or another size which will keep the same proportion of the original painting, we are happy to help. If you are not sure of the exact size that you would like to order, please let us know the approximate size of either the length or the width and we will calculate the other dimension so that the painting keeps to the same ratio and shape as the original. FRAMINGCan you frame and stretch the artwork for me? Yes, we are now providing stretching and framing assistance to customers who are located within the continental U.S. for paintings that are 30" x 40" and smaller. If you are in South Florida, we can offer framing for paintings that are larger than 30" x 40" for local delivery. You can either select the frames from the shopping cart at the time you are placing your order or you can add framing to an existing order by emailing us. How long does it take for the artist to paint the artwork? Many paintings take approximately 12 to 14 days to complete depending upon the size and the detail of the image. If you have a deadline to meet, please let us know. All paintings are then reviewed by our Quality Assurance Associate which is under the direction of one of the co-founders of BestPriceArt.com. Once the artwork is completed, the painting needs to properly dry and then your package is immediately shipped. For larger paintings and paintings with a lot of detail, the paintings will take a little longer to complete. The whole process from the artist completing the oil painting, quality control, drying time and shipping takes approximately 4 to 6 weeks. All paintings are hand painted by very skilled artists and the paintings are worth waiting for! How do I change my Customer Account Profile information?
